Aesop’s new single ‘Zero Dark Thirty‘ from his upcoming album Skelethon is mesmerizing. Aesop continues to create a new cryptic rap language comprised of seemingly random diction. Yet, this diction is not random my friends, it is carefully crafted by Aes himself. The phonetics of his word choice construct a lightspeed flow that moves the song along in a surprisingly organized way. I attempted to decipher these lyrics by listening to the song over and over and guessing them. I am 100% sure I screwed most of it up, how about you be the boss of that?
